At this year’s Conference we’re going to create a bold, brave space to come together and discover all the things we can do — large and small — to move our sector forward and centre our audiences.

With so much change to manage, it can be tough to recognise the possibility and power of new practices. Whether it’s the potential that new technologies offer, or new ways of collecting data, sometimes the simplest things can feel Herculean. Being bold and brave is a mindset as much as a journey, and over two days we’ll explore how we can bring this mindset to our work. 

To be bold and brave, we need support; we’re greater together than alone. So we’ll celebrate the collective strength we possess as arts marketers and as a sector, and focus on what can be achieved when we take a bold, brave approach. 

What can you expect?

Whether you’re an old pro or a newbie, the AMA Conference is for you. You’ll gain knowledge, grow your network of peers, and be inspired to focus on what matters most — your audiences.

Across a packed two days we’ll be taking on the topics that matter most to you right now. Our speakers will share tips, insights and case studies on topics such as:

  • Iterative content strategy
  • Social media — what does being bold on socials look like in 2024?
  • Digital — what are the tools you need to know about and what are the ones to ditch?
  • Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) — how does EDI show up in all the work you’re doing?
  • Net zero and our audiences
  • Accessible marketing — breaking down barriers
  • Audience data and what to do with it
  • Connecting with communities
  • Learning from fan culture
  • Marketing skills

We’ll also have a dedicated Leadership Strand that will explore topics such as:

  • Are our strategies fit for the changes we’re experiencing?
  • AI and data — what does it mean for sector leaders?

Plus, you’ll have the opportunity to discuss, debrief and build lasting connections with others from across the arts and cultural sector.
