Lecturer in Music Education

Contract: Permanent, Part time, Hourly Paid
Salary: £56.47- £66.28 per hour depending on experience; offering around 120 hours/year

Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance is a forward thinking, contemporary and world-class Higher Education Institution with a vision to redefine the conservatoire for the 21st century. At the leading edge of music and dance training, it provides specialist education of the highest quality, which reflects the increasingly collaborative world of artistic practice and supports the lifelong career development of students and professional performing artists.

In order to support its growing postgraduate music education provision, Trinity Laban would like to recruit an hourly paid lecturer in music education with specialisms in quantitative statistics (essential) and instrumental/vocal teaching (desirable). The role will primarily involve supervision of master’s level personal projects and marking, lecturing and student support across a range of modules. Teaching will primarily be in person in Greenwich, with some opportunity for working online as well. Trinity Laban has a highly international student body, and so experience of working with international students is desirable.

As an equal opportunity employer we positively encourage applications from suitably qualified and eligible candidates regardless of sex, race, disability, age, sexual orientation, gender identity and expression, religion or belief, marital status, or pregnancy and maternity.

Please note all applications submitted will be shortlisted anonymously by our recruiting panel, so please ensure that your name and personal details are not included in the supporting statement otherwise we will not be able to consider your application.
